Long-popular pop star Aino Minako is no here-and-gone idol singer but she’s still using scandal to keep herself in the headlines. At yesterday’s concert she was seen backstage kissing a woman identified as the virtually unknown Mars Reiko, before dragging her onto the stage.
Aino’s manager confirms that he too had never heard of Mars until she began performing at charity events with Aino. No record label can be found financing her. Aino’s advertising her lover explains the sky-rocketing of her career from obscurity.
Only one hotel room has been booked for Aino locally, though pictures of whether she is sharing it with her lover are still forthcoming do to disruptions of the concert by monsters, which were fought off by the timely appearance of Sailor Venus and Sailor Mars.
