Usagi sighed loudly and settled her face in the middle of a big encyclopedia to nap. She would be awake again soon and studying more, up till the late hours of the night when the library would throw them out, and that never failed to be surprising.
Come on, Usagi? Usagi the idiot, the lazy cry-baby? She was a born OL, not even a born housewife because she was awful at household chores. The teachers who noticed how hard she studied postulated that she was fixated on becoming the secretary of an important man, maybe one in the Diet.
Rei closed a book loudly and Makoto took that as a sign to bring out the snacks, illicit and exciting in the library, in the hope of perking up Usagi. Ami had yet to move, leaning over an English dictionary on the table and an anatomical diagram on her lap.
Minako yawned and stretched. Her notes had sketches of microphones, fancy dresses, and mascot characters on them. She flipped the page to religion in France and racial tensions in Belgium. Then the future diplomat poked Usagi-who-would-be-Queen until she woke up.
