Kunzite was walking through the streets of Tokyo, ignoring the pointless human things around him, waiting for Zoisite to finish with Nephrite, when he smelled a most curious smell.
He was only aware that he smelled something; his brain failed to process what the odor might be.
Realizing he had stopped in the streets, Kunzite decided to use his eyes to track down what was eluding his nose.
There were record stores and stores with dozens of flashing pictures in the windows and noodle carts and clothe--
Cooking food. For a thousand years the Dark Kingdom had gotten their sustenance from Metallia’s power alone and the human world smelled of cooking food.
