Nephrite emerged from the doorway he had been lurking behind. Motoki expected him to say he looked like an idiot.
“Why are you bothering?”
“You are help here, when you’re not breaking things, and you’re doing that much less, Nephkichi.”
“Bu… yo… Still not why you’re having me stay in your apartment.”
“My roommate ditched me to go to England. Where do you think your salary is going?”
Nephrite looked at him darkly and Motoki wondered if he was going to keep asking questions or breaking into one of his rages.
“You look like an idiot.”
So everything was okay.
