“Thank you, thanks!” He backed towards an alley to dodge the well-wishers, then almost tripped over a woman behind him. “Oh, sorry, Kushina-san.” He waited, eyelashes fluttering and eyes like a puppy dog.
She snorted and glanced away. “Well, better you than that snake creep,” she allowed.
Minato barely managed to avoid a victory leap into the air.
“Not that that’s saying much.”
He drooped, causing the Hokage’s hat to fall over his eyes. He reached a hand to push it back and it seemed Kushina’s green eyes could no longer manage to focus on a point just over his right shoulder.
“But that hat is so sexy,” she admitted as she pushed him up against the wall to kiss him.
