“The picturesque mountain framed by sakura trees?”
They took back to the air. “And that’s… that’s… the red reconstruction of the Eiffel Tower that West Virginia is famous for.”
“Stupid Usagi. This is Japan!” Rei whacked her on the back of the head around her halo. “That’s about as far from there in the American west coast as we could get and still be on Earth.”
“That would be west of Yinchuan.”
“Thank you Ami.”
“Oh never mind,” they suddenly heard behind them. A red demon was already turning back into the form of a red-haired human man in a business suit.
“Demon!” the angels pointed and shouted.
“Yes. I thought I sensed something out here but you’re no threat.”
“Spawn of Satan!”
“I’m not spawn of anything. Don’t insult my mother. I’m an oni.”
“What do you mean we’re no threat?” Rei asked crossly.
“Well… you’re not, little girls.” Nephrite spread his arms. “This is Japan. You have no foothold. Even your Western Mammon has been driven underground by the kami and kirin and is being harassed by kappa.”
“We must have ended up here on purpose.” Usagi’s eyes shined as she tried to justify herself. “In the name of Heaven, we will stay here and fight you, demon.”
