“And just how did you know that?”
“I’m not.”
“Shut up. This isn’t about you. This is about her going behind everyone’s backs.”
Minako ran away in tears.
“You don’t have to be so mad at her for something that turned out well, if I do say so myself.”
“Through luck. She can’t be the lone warrior taking all the initiative anymore.”
“So if she’d asked, you’d have said yes?”
“No. Well, maybe. But doing it alone without telling us put us in so much more danger if anything had gone wrong.”
“It didn’t,” he reassured her.
“Luck.”
