Theme: Rei--"It is easier to forgive an enemy than to forgive a friend." -- William Blake
Genre: General
Version: Manga
Rating: PG

“I can’t believe you did it. What were you thinking?”

“I didn’t exactly…”

“Not you,” Rei snapped at Kunzite. “Of course it wasn’t your idea and you didn’t particularly have a choice in the matter.”

“I didn’t think they’d be evil.”

“And just how did you know that?”

“I’m not.”

“Shut up. This isn’t about you. This is about her going behind everyone’s backs.”

Minako ran away in tears.

“You don’t have to be so mad at her for something that turned out well, if I do say so myself.”

“Through luck. She can’t be the lone warrior taking all the initiative anymore.”

“So if she’d asked, you’d have said yes?”

“No. Well, maybe. But doing it alone without telling us put us in so much more danger if anything had gone wrong.”

“It didn’t,” he reassured her.

“Luck.”

“No. Well, maybe.

*snort* It would have been a 'no', Rei, let's face it. Good use of the prompt here.

I kind of wanted to get into how it would have been okay if it had been Usagi because she's the Messiah and it always works out, but couldn't think how to word it.
