“Pretty fluently. All their idioms are pretty weird and I write like a fifth grader.”

“You’re a sixth grader.”

“Going to be seventh. I don’t want to leave England to go to stupid Japan.”

“But you were born there.”

“Technically.” Minako rolled over on her bed to look at Artemis. “I don’t really remember it except everyone slept on the floor and it was hot all the time.”

“I’m sure it was nicer than that. It’s not like you’re moving to Nigeria.”

“I guess. I don’t wanna leave home.”

“You have to. This is lucky. The princess is there.”
