Isane tried not to be particularly interested in patients, but everyone in the Court of Pure Souls was her patients, except perhaps taichou, who she loved and admired enough already.
That person—perhaps it would have been easier if she could forget. But, they were in so often; taichou insisted anyone that sexually active be examined regularly.
“Am I alright, Kotetsu-fukutaichou?” That sweet voice.
“Yes, Matsumoto-fukutaichou.”
“Then why haven’t you let go of my boobs?”
Isane blushed and stepped away from Matsumoto quickly. “That will be all,” she said, quickly busying herself with charts.
Isane could have sworn Matsumoto winked at her when she left.
