“Don’t wanna.”

“I don’t want it.” Rubeus looked at it scornfully and started yanking out its hair.
“Don’t!”
“Why not? It’s mine.”
She tried to jump up but her shoelaces had been tied together. She tripped and landed on her face.
“I’ll tell Mommy!”
“Running to your mother? Crybaby. You can’t be a weakling and be worthy of the clan.”
“Someday you’re going to need my help and I’ll leave you to burn and die!”
