“Oi, who are you trying to kidnap her?” growled Artemis.
“From Mau, aren’t you? You did have quite an alliance with the Silver Millennium back in the day.”
“Yes…”
“And you, you are Sailor V. I’ve heard of you, even have the cell phone charm.”
“Wow, they have those?”
“Well, they will. Whole merchandise empire, once Japan gets its hands on it. Shouldn’t say more. So how about it?”
“I should tell my mom first…”
“No worries. I’ll have you back before she even notices you’re missing. How about twenty-second century Venus? It’s even better than Paris, the city not the planet. Everything’s better than Paris the planet. I should check in on Zoe from time to time, time being what it is.”
“Okay.”
“I’m going with her,” Artemis cut in. “Needs a chaperone from the likes of you. She’s thirteen, you know.”
