Jadeite was not very good at anything even related to admitting a weakness, so Kyoko tried to fill in the blanks.
“You’re afraid of airsickness?”
“It’s Aeronausiphobia.”
“Um…?”
“Fear of vomiting from airsickness?” Ryo tried. “Well, it’s not Agyrophobia--fear of crossing streets--or Albuminurophobia--fear of kidney disease.”
“Or Alektorophobia--fear of chickens,” put in Yukio with a very mocking Zoisite grin. “Or Homichlophobia--fear of fog.”
“Or Triskaidekaphobia--fear of the number thirteen,” Joe added.
“Or Maieusiophobia--fear of childbirth--or Meteorophobia--fear of meteors--or Koinoniphobia--fear of rooms--” Shin shot off.
“Or Ephebiphobia--fear of teenagers,” Yumemi contributed helpfully.
Jadeite looked like the only reason he hadn’t disemboweled one of them yet was because he hadn’t chosen which one of them to start with.
“I don’t get it. You don’t have airsickness. Is he getting on that plane or do I have to drug him into unconsciousness and carry him?” Kyoko finally burst out.
“He’s coming,” Shin said with finality. “Now march before I give you something to really be afraid of.”
