purplekitteI feel really awkward about "you" being both singular and plural. I learned that fact in seventh grade and was horribly surprised. In my mind, you is singular (y'all is plural), so I just feel like I'm being unclear when using it as a plural.

Mamoru broke down in hysterics again. He felt Kunzite’s arm around him and wondered if he could wake himself up if he got upset enough.
“You hated me when you were alive!”
“I felt betrayed by you. I hated her for taking you away from us. But we would die for you just as they would die for her.”
“Like I would die for her.”
“We would rather you live.”
“What a coincidence. I would rather you lived.”
Mamoru woke himself up.
