“They’re so annoying!”
“It’s not illegal just now. There’s nothing wrong with photographing Senshi. Our magic protects us from being recognized while transformed and it is illegal to link our civilian and Senshi names.”
“I’ve never had any trouble telling who Senshi are while transformed.”
“That’s because you know. If you had been someone else’s daughter, you wouldn’t know.”
“How do you know so much? You learned this all in your Crystal Tokyoan school?” If so, Sailor Jupiter looked more impressed with it than she usually did.
“No, stupid. I learned it from my father who learned it from Queen Kyoko, who learned it all herself by being a good stalker back in the Old Days when everyone was outright enemies. And you would have known too if you had ever been listening.” Sailor Ceres posed for a minute for the flashing lights with a daring grin.
“I listen to Oniwabandana-san for fighting, not photography. I’m glad we don’t have a media back home. They look like they want to eat me,” she hissed between her teeth.
“It’s a different ruling style and a different tradition. I’m sure Neo-Queen Serenity never said, ‘You’ll obey me or I’ll shoot you’ with a loaded gun in hand like that story of your mother’s.” Though under her breath, without moving her lips, she hissed, “At least the things trying to rip us to bits in the Dark Kingdom have the decency to have sharp teeth, so it will be over quickly.”
