“Where am I?”
A truck went by under the bridge with a loud, drawn-out honk.
Hotaru looked over at the white truck going past into the dark, foggy night lit by neon signs of all colors in a particularly dirty, dank ward of Tokyo.
“Papa? Mama?”
Another truck rushed by. Hotaru’s short hair ruffled in the wind of its movement.
The neon lights were garish and everywhere, but didn’t brighten the darkness around them.
“Hello?”
Another truck honked long and low. In the momentary brightness of its headlights, Hotaru caught a glimpse of Sailor Pluto standing on the bridge before her.
“Setsuna-mama?!”
Hotaru ran towards her. She was saying something, her lips were moving, but another truck was going by and Hotaru couldn’t hear anything over it and it must be important and she was getting further away and deeper into the shadows--
“Mama!”
