CASE MAY BE CLOSED ON RECENT ARSON CASES
Police apprehended suspected Hino Rei, 21, daughter of notable politician Hino Takashi, last week in connection to the string of serial arsons that have resulted in three deaths.
Hino appeared in court yesterday, where she verbally abused her lawyer and argued with the witnesses called in her defense. “I’ve never heard the judge call for order more times,” admitted a court aid. “The poor lawyer was practically in tears.”
Allegedly, among the evidence was a toy-replica from the popular series Death Note, which contained the names of the arson victims and “die in a fire”.
The cause of the fires is still unknown, according to police sources.
