purplekitteI think my characterization was a bit off on this one, but I can't really pinpoint where.

Yachiru laughed around her candy. “No, it was crazy talking to himself man.”
Kenpachi glared. “Don’t take candy from them nutcases.” He had never quite believed that insanity wasn’t contagious, like they thought in the slums.
Kenpachi lumbered off find someone to fight, coincidentally going past the 10th Division, outside of which Isshin was hiding from paperwork.
“Hey, fruitcake, don’t be giving Yachiru candy. It’s… bad for her.”
“Isn’t she just a cute kid though; I wish I had kids like her; I—”
Kenpachi punched him.
