“The damn phone’s broken.”
“Will we be in here all night?” Usagi asked forlornly, as if nothing could be worse than being stuck in an elevator with that stupid boy who was always being mean to her.
“People will notice we’re missing. Or that they can’t get an elevator. We’ll be rescued, odango atama.”
“Good.”
After a few minutes, Mamoru started pacing. It was difficult in the small elevator and it was… annoying.
“Will you stop doing that?”
“What should I do? I’m trapped in here with you.”
“You say I’m stupid, but you’re too stupid to be able to pull off positive human interaction.”
There wasn’t much room in the elevator, but they didn’t need to be right in each other’s faces.
“I hate you!”
“I hate you.”
“Good.”
“Fine.”
Their lips slammed the last centimeter together.
