purplekitteI love the picture of Kunzite and Zoisite. There's a wonderful bit on it in the Kunzite/Zoisite shrine on In Metallia's Name.

It seemed impossible that a person who had lived for a thousand years should disappear so quickly. Humans lived for a fraction of that time, but many of them had left more mark on the world than the hole in Kunzite’s chest.
His memories flashed in and out like a breeze, too insubstantial to grasp. With Metallia’s cloud on his mind, he could only be sure now existed.
The only sign that his memories were real, had existed, was that picture. He clung to it like a lifeline, reminding himself of each of Zoisite’s features. He reminded himself it had been real, he had been in love, not sure if it would have been better to forget.
